A track shoe is the primary ground-contact component of a tracked vehicle. It must transfer high loads, resist abrasion and impact, maintain secure articulation and perform across road, mud, snow and broken terrain.
CEW Defense combines foundry knowledge, controlled metallurgy, heat treatment, precision machining and inspection to manufacture replacement track components to customer drawings, samples and agreed technical requirements.

We are developing long-term relationships with European defence contractors, authorised distributors, maintenance organisations and procurement teams, with particular commercial focus on the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Support is available for legacy fleet sustainment, drawing-based replacement parts, reverse-engineering programmes and new component development. Compatibility is validated against customer-controlled technical data before production—never assumed from a platform name alone.

Alloy selection and heat treatment are tailored to the drawing and performance requirement. Depending on the application, this may include grades such as AISI 4140, AISI 5140 or 8650H, supported by chemical and process verification.
